Who is behind Tuyo?
Tuyo Inc. is a financial technology company. Our founders are Jorge Izquierdo, who previously co-founded Aragon, and Alejandro Perezpayá, who previously held an executive role at Allfunds. We build Tuyo to make everyday money easier to use while keeping users in control.
Is Tuyo a bank?
Tuyo is not a bank or an asset custodian. The app helps you use a self-custodial wallet. Fiat services and card issuance involve separate providers and licensed partner institutions. Availability and protections depend on the service, the provider and your location.
Who provides payment and card services?
Fiat services, including conversions and virtual account numbers, are provided through Bridge. Tuyo works with Rain for card issuance services, with cards issued by licensed partner institutions. Bridge and Rain are financial technology providers, not banks. Check the terms in the app for your service.
How does interest fit into Tuyo?
You can choose from a curated list of interest strategies in the app. Rates vary, fees apply and returns can be lower or negative. These strategies are not bank deposits or covered by deposit insurance. Review how a strategy earns and its risks before choosing it.
Where is Tuyo available?
Availability depends on your residence and the service you want to use. General access to Tuyo does not guarantee access to card or bank-account services. Check both platform-wide restrictions and the guide for the specific service before signing up.
Where can I find product information and help?
The Tuyo Help center contains instructions, service limits, availability tables and product explanations. Guides state which app interface they apply to, with sources where relevant. For changing rates, fees and eligibility, use the current information shown in your app.
